Family Friendly Action Fund Plays Pivotal Role Reaching New Hampshire Voters

Family Friendly Action Fund Launches Grassroots Campaign in Support of New Hampshire Candidates Who Will Put Families First

Nonpartisan Campaign for a Family Friendly Economy Has Already Knocked on the Doors of Over 20,000 Voters In New Hampshire This Cycle

Manchester, NH. – Today the Family Friendly Action Fund announced a grassroots campaign to reach New Hampshire voters in support of candidates who support family friendly economic policies.

“Rising costs of living are the top issue on the minds of folks we are speaking to in communities across New Hampshire and voters are eager to hear where their candidates stand on issues that will lower costs and help their families thrive,” said Amanda Sears, New Hampshire State Director of the Campaign for a Family Friendly Economy and Family Friendly Action Fund. “Everyday between now and Election Day we will be out talking with voters in support of candidates who are prioritizing sound economic policies, like affordable child care, that will make sure working families have the opportunity to get ahead.”

At a news conference in Manchester today 20 field canvassers gathered together before heading into nearby neighborhoods to talk with voters about State House candidates. This team has already knocked on the doors of over 20,000 voters in New Hampshire, talking with voters about the issues that matter to them as they look ahead to the November election. The canvassers noted they are hearing a lot about rising costs of living, and misplaced priorities of leaders in Concord who have prioritized attacks on public education funding and limiting abortion rights over policies to lower costs for working families, including reining in prescription drug prices, affordable child care and earned, paid sick time.

Separately, the Family Friendly Action PAC is also beginning a grassroots campaign to support the re-election of Senator Maggie Hassan, who has been a federal champion of economic policies to support working families and family caregivers.

Nationally, as reported yesterday by Politico, the Family Friendly Action PAC announced it is launching a $23 million grassroots campaign in Wisconsin, Arizona, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire and Georgia to elect Senators who support policies that will help working families.

In 2020, the Family Friendly Action PAC spent almost $18 million on a voter contact program in support of Joe Biden and U.S. Senate candidates that spanned Wisconsin, Michigan, Maine, Iowa, Montana, Virginia, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Florida and Georgia. This program utilized robust field, mail and digital investments to make nearly 16 million voter contact attempts. The program engaged voters who were persuadable based on a family economic message that emphasized the care issues families struggle with on a daily basis, including paid family and medical leave and affordable elder and childcare.
