“The Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 is a historic bill that will bring critical relief to families by lowering the costs of healthcare and prescription drugs. Specifically, this bill provides Medicare with the ability to negotiate the price of prescription drugs – for the first time ever.

“Because of President Joe Biden’s leadership, and the work of Democrats in Congress, families across New Hampshire and the United States will finally have access to the essential medications and care they need to stay alive and healthy.

“We are grateful to Senators Maggie Hassan and Jeanne Shaheen, Congressman Chris Pappas and Congresswoman Annie Kuster for advocating for the needs of New Hampshire families and ensuring this bill made it to President Biden’s desk.
