NEW HAMPSHIRE CAMPAIGN FOR A FAMILY FRIENDLY ECONOMY CELEBRATES ELECTION OF NEW HAMPSHIRE STATE REPRESENTATIVES THAT WILL WORK TO LOWER COSTS AND PASS CARE POLICIES

New Hampshire Campaign for a Family Friendly Economy Played Pivotal Role, Knocking on the Doors of Over 160,000 New Hampshire Voters In Support of Candidates Prioritizing Lowering Costs for Families

Concord, NH – Today, the New Hampshire Campaign for a Family Friendly Economy (CFFE) celebrates the election of State Representatives  who campaigned on a platform of delivering relief for working families. These candidates will work tirelessly to lift up working families, offering a stark contrast to the policies the Republican majority focused on last session, including restricting access to abortion and diverting resources away from public schools.

In New Hampshire, the Campaign for a Family Friendly Economy spoke to voters at their doors about the positions of their House candidates and reached voters in swing districts with digital advertising and direct mail in support of family friendly candidates. CFFE knocked on the doors of more than 160,000 Granite Staters and spoke with more than 28,000 voters about candidates prioritizing policies to reduce costs for working families.  CFFE invested in 124 races for State Representative, with more than half  of the organization’s candidates winning election.

“As families are increasingly squeezed by rising costs, voters supported candidates who will fight to make life more affordable and ensure families have the opportunity to get ahead.” said Amanda Sears, New Hampshire State Director of the Campaign for a Family Friendly Economy. “House Democrats made investments in affordable child care, lower prescription drug prices and other policies to cut costs for families central to their campaign and voters rewarded them for it.”

The Campaign for a Family Friendly Economy spoke with Granite Staters about candidates running in the most competitive State House seats. The House majority has flipped partisan control in all but one election over the last 12 years and is nearly tied for partisan control following Tuesday’s election with several races facing recounts due to razor thin margins.
