Concord, NH – Today, the New Hampshire Campaign for a Family Friendly Economy celebrates the re-election of Senator Maggie Hassan, who ran on a platform of lowering costs for families by addressing the cost of child care, elder care and prescription drugs.

The New Hampshire Campaign for a Family Friendly Economy knocked on the doors of more than 160,000 Granite State voters this year and spoke with over 28,000 New Hampshire voters about candidates prioritizing policies to reduce costs for working families.

Throughout her campaign, Senator Maggie Hassan, a long-time champion of care policies in the Senate, demonstrated her support for families. In an ad released last month, Senator Hassan highlighted her work to lower prescription drug costs and save taxpayers billions of dollars. She also highlighted her work to increase investment in home and community based support services in her ad titled “Care”.

“Senator Hassan has a record of fighting for the financial security of families and advocating for care policies, these issues were central to her campaign, and voters rewarded her for it,” said Amanda Sears, New Hampshire State Director of the Campaign for a Family Friendly Economy. “We look forward to working with Senator Hassan in the coming years to pass policies that will give families the tools and opportunities to thrive.”
